How the +33 number works across 42 countries
The number is a French +33 mobile number. It is not a local number in any other country. See the full country list.
Keep your home number on (dual SIM)
You can keep your home SIM on for calls and texts from home. Turn that SIM's data roaming off, and use this eSIM for data and the +33 line.
Who can call you
Incoming calls and SMS reach the +33 line in covered countries. Some services may refuse numbers they don't recognise as local, so acceptance isn't guaranteed. A France eSIM with phone number uses the same +33 line. The same line is what an Italy eSIM with phone number uses.
